In response to growing international awareness about the environmental and public health impacts of chemicals, Oxy’Pharm develops eco-friendly, automated, bio-disinfection solutions along with a range of associated disinfection products. The increasing availability and use of new technologies developed by Oxy’Pharm required a simultaneous increase in the production of innovative disinfectant liquids. The creation of a new, cutting-edge laboratory was therefore essential to meet the demands of all our partners.
Constant and committed development
Everything began in 2012, at the offices on Rue Marcel Paul in Champigny-sur-Marne near Paris. In keeping with its commitment to maintaining a local presence and protecting the environment, Oxy’Pharm decided to design and manufacture all its solutions in France.
Complying with the strictest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency, our company has gradually expanded nationally and internationally, and now distributes its products in more than 120 countries.
With the COVID-19 pandemic, the uncontrolled use of biocidal products increased significantly, highlighting the critical importance of eco-friendly disinfection products. As it was already a leader in bio-disinfection, pre-disinfection, and pest control, Oxy’Pharm recognized the need to increase its production capacity to meet growing global demand. By balancing values of public health protection and eco-responsibility, the company was able to rise to a major international challenge.
To keep pace with the growing popularity of its automated surface bio-disinfection devices, a new state-of-the-art laboratory was required to produce the accompanying eco-friendly disinfectant liquids.
A New High-Performance laboratory
The new Oxy’Pharm laboratory spans 27,000 square feet, including 8,600 square feet for the production area and 6,500 square feet of storage space. This modern, innovative infrastructure enables the production of some 15 different products. Equipped with four automatic packaging machines complete with labelers and automated printers, the laboratory can produce 200 bottles per hour, per machine, generating up to 15,000 liters of product per week.
To ensure both operator safety and environmental protection, the laboratory is equipped with an autonomous extraction system for powders and vapors. This technology limits the spread of chemicals into the surrounding environment while ensuring a safe working environment.
Our priorities: safety and quality
Oxy’Pharm ensures the safety and quality of its products by adhering to strict standards, guaranteeing flawlessreliability and efficiency. Our quality control is exemplary, with double checks (at both tank exit and bottle exit) and sample storage for two years. Two product analysis laboratories, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and back-up equipment, conduct rigorous checks at every stage of production.
The young, dynamic laboratory team includes a manager, five production operators, and two lab technicians. To ensure their well-being, a rigorous occupational health and safety action plan has been rolled out. The new laboratory was designed to be optimally ergonomic in collaboration with an interior architect, minimizing the extent of necessary movements and handling.
