Today, we invite you to meet the people who assemble your Nocosprays. Who are they, and how do they approach their work ?
Hervé has been working at Oxy’Pharm for two and a half years. A year ago, Damien joined him on the Nocospray assembly line. Their collaboration has been built around assembling Nocosprays, but they have received similar training for assembling sub-assemblies of other devices such as Nocomax, Alphaclean, and Glosair. Hervé explains: “It’s important to be versatile in this job so that we can help each other out when there is high demand.” What they prefer is the good working atmosphere and the supportive collaboration among the workshop members.
Assembling a complete Nocospray takes a day. However, to simplify and make the manufacturing process more efficient, it is recommended to pre-assemble several sub-assemblies. This includes the most complex parts of the device, making the final assembly smoother.
The team starts by assembling the sub-assemblies according to the plans provided by the engineering department:
• Venturi: product diffuser
• Sleeve: used to secure the Venturi
• Motor handle: the skeleton of the machine
• Power board: powers the machine and distributes energy
They then finalize the assembly with the cover, base, and metal plate. At the end of the assembly, the device is taken to the control area to check its operation. If there is a problem, the device is returned to the team for analysis and repair. “Over time, we get to know the machine, and with experience, we quickly identify where the problem is when there is one,” they explain. Hervé emphasizes that it’s important to assemble and put together without rushing to avoid mistakes, as it’s a meticulous job that requires concentration and precision.
The pre-assembly of sub-assemblies allows for a significant time-saving, enabling them to meet the target of 14 Nocosprays per day. Discussing their goals, they recall an order of 800 Nocosprays to be delivered in 4 months. With the help of five other assemblers, they were able to fulfill the contract thanks to the versatility of the entire team.
When asked how many Nocosprays they have assembled since they started, they respond after some thought: about 4000 for Hervé and 1500 for Damien. With a smile, they explain: “We don’t time ourselves during assembly, it’s not a race.” It’s not a question of speed but of method, thought, and concentration.
Finally, they have a message for the dealers : “Thank you, it’s thanks to you that the company operates,” says Damien. “Thank you for your trust,” adds Hervé. They express their gratitude for your commitment and choice to collaborate with a company that manufactures in France.
